Community and Identity
■ For better AND worse, our communities play a large roll in how we establish our chosen identity
■ Our local government has the power to help develop what kind of community we live in through services provided, tax rates and community organizing
■ Your voice and your vote are STRONGEST in community politics
■ Your local governments are layered and interrelated. A better understanding of them empowers your understanding of your neighborhood
■ Our world doesn't just happen by itself. Local citizens serve US to make them work for us.
Why Local Government?
■ Local government plays the most active role for its citizens, whose votes are strongest in local elections
■ Unfortunately, turnout is lowest in local elections
■We believe that your VOICE and your VOTE = your DIGNITY
■Your Vote/Voice is STRONGEST in local elections. They can influence your taxes more than the Federal Government!
