■ We are developing an interactive class for the Community College level

■ The course will include elected officials IN CLASS. The presence of these officials is set to serve several purposes:

● Show that those serving in these positions are human beings, citizens with personal lives and responsibilities just like you and me.

● Assist in your understanding of what their office actually DOES and is RESPONSIBLE FOR. We aim to clarify any misunderstandings you have on what local government offices actually are responsible for and what services they can/do provide.

■ Officials will represent that class’s topic.

■ Officials will speak to the students about why they chose to serve their community and run for office

■ We wish to discuss different levels of local government and clarify who we elect and what roles those offices play in our communities

■ You, as a citizen, have a busy enough life as it is.

■ Asking citizens to take time out of their busy life to motivate themselves is flawed and rude. Demanding they sacrifice their personal time to motivate and educate themselves on Civics using other people's demands is arrogant and out of touch with OUR American reality

■ We want to speak WITH you, not TO you.

■ We believe that targeting grade school Americans with Civic education should continue, but should be the starting point and not the end. Grade school/Jr. High citizens have far more pressing issues to figure out in their development than mastering the American Civic Model.

■ Through social media, we bring examples of Civic truths and examples of Civic servants’ success to your feed daily

■ We aim to deliver the message of importance for Civic engagement to those who bear the responsibilities of paying taxes and voting; the Adult American Citizen.

• Creating a college level Civics course initially designed for the State of Illinois, to be released in 2022.
